In 2014 I completed my Secondary Mathematics Education with Qualified Teacher Status course at EdgeHill University, completing placements in secondary schools, predominantly teaching maths but also teaching some lessons in other subjects.

I have been doing private tutoring since January 2012, in Maths, Science and English. During this time I have tutored over 60 young people, helping boost their confidence and grades.

Tutoring Experience
I completed, as part of my course, 3 placements in Secondary, 2 of these were schools in Cheshire in 11-16 schools and the other placement was in an 11-18 school in Stoke on Trent, predominantly teaching maths.

Tutoring Approach
Many teachers have commented in observations about my professionalism, and the content of my lessons, and the rapport I build with pupils. They also commented on the planning and resources and the high expectations that I set of my pupils.

I use a variety of different resources and activities to encourage and support pupils learning.
