Currently working towards Masters in Senior Leadership, a qualified adaptable and motivated secondary Science teacher. He possesses over 8 years experience of delivering the GCSE curriculum. teaching students with a key appreciation of practical science and leading a KS4 team. He is also second in science, with a proven track record in teaching KS3, KS4 & A-Level Chemistry. Exposure to challenging inner city schools where he has implemented successful classroom management techniques, delivered engaging lessons and driven the development of students through GCSE success.

Key Responsibilities:
●;Supporting Head of Faculty with the implementation of Departmental Improvement plans (DIPS) & the school improvement plan
●;Support Head of Faculty in implementing the schools behaviour management policy within Key Stage 4
●;Leading team meetings relating to subject topics ensuring staff knowledge is up to date/Moderations/Tracker updates/Departmental
●;Ensure that schemes of work meet the current needs of the curriculum, staff and pupils of all abilities
●;Conducting book scrutinises, observations, learning walks, CPD, drop-ins & progress panels
●;Assist with the creation of new resources through research, discussions with staff and audit of current curriculum and other curricula operating elsewhere
●;Ensuring a clear scheme of homework is linked to each scheme of work
●;Ensure that internal assessments are integrated into the scheme, available for staff to use and that they provide an accurate picture of pupil attainment
●;Work to guarantee that results of such assessments are in line with the target grades of individual pupils
●;Review data at each census point, identifying issues with classes, groups and individuals, and report findings to Head of Faculty
