My name is Nicola and I moved to the area eight years ago from Wimbledon, where I worked at Wimbledon High School for nine years. I am currently working in Y5/6 in a London prep school and prior to this I worked as a KS2 TA in various Woking prep schools.

I am trained in learning support, Unicorn Maths, Toe by Toe, Acceleread Accelewrite and Read Write Inc, as well as having many years experience in Years 1 to 6 and tutoring from home. I am happy to take children in Y6 if they are struggling with the maths curriculum or preparing for SATS, but I don`t prepare them for the 11+ entrance exams.

I am fully DRB checked and have a safeguarding certificate and paediatric first aid qualification. I am also a qualified ELSA.

If your child is struggling to keep up with the maths curriculum, has lost confidence in the subject or simply needs some revision then please do get in touch with me. My lessons are fun and are individually tailored to each child. I can liaise directly with your child`s form teacher, if requested, so that I ensure that we cover exactly where the gaps are.

All books are supplied by me and are included in the lesson fee. I only tutor from home and have a dedicated work room where I teach, which has all the necessary resources for my lessons.

I give feedback to parents after every lesson, either in person or in a book which moves with the pupil from home to lessons and back.

Availability: I will have availability from the start of the summer term on either a Tuesday or Wednesday after school. As I commute from London, I can`t start lessons before 5.30 pm during term time. In the holidays I am very flexible.
After the KS2 SATS in May, I will have availability on a Monday after school.
