Hello! I have been a teacher for twelve years teaching Science at all levels and abilities from KS3 to GCSE and achieving fantastic results. I have tutored, online and in person, for the last five years with great feedback.
I can offer specific, tailored and methodical tutoring with excellent knowledge of all specifications.
For GCSE students my lessons to begin with a recap of prior knowledge, followed by plugging any gaps and then application to past paper questions. Extra resources will be sent following each session for students to review and practice.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I always strive to respond to all enquiries within a few hours. I look forward to hearing from you.
The times I tutor are:
Mondays: 7.30-8.30pm and 8.30pm-9.30pm
Tuesdays: 7.30-8.30pm and 8.30pm-9.30pm
Wednesdays: 7.30-8.30pm and 8.30pm-9.30pm
Thursdays: 4-5pm and 7.30-8.30pm and 8.30pm-9.30pm
Fridays: 4-5pm and 7.30-8.30pm
Saturdays: 9-10am
Sundays: 11-12noon and 3-4pm
I normally fill all of these slots each year.

Matt has a great approach to teaching science - back to basics but sharing great visuals and filling in gaps of knowledge which has been essential to getting my 15 year old son up to speed and building confidence ahead of his GSCE year. He is thoughtful and responsive and would recommend to anyone looking for a well rounded tutor for sciences.

Matt’s lessons are very well organised, and he is able to break down difficult concepts in a way which easy to understand. Matt is extremely knowledge and he has a thorough understanding of the GCSE components and marking criteria. He also encourages active learning to ensure that I have fully understood the content of previous topics. As an adult learner I now really enjoy chemistry and biology lessons and I would highly recommend Matt as tutor!
