Information about Matt
Hello! I have been a teacher for twelve years teaching Science at all levels and abilities from KS3 to GCSE and achieving fantastic results. I have tutored, online and in person, for the last five years with great feedback.
I can offer specific, tailored and methodical tutoring with excellent knowledge of all specifications.
For GCSE students my lessons to begin with a recap of prior knowledge, followed by plugging any gaps and then application to past paper questions. Extra resources will be sent following each session for students to review and practice.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I always strive to respond to all enquiries within a few hours. I look forward to hearing from you.
The times I currently have availability are:
Wednesdays: 8.30pm-9.30pm
Thursdays: 8.30pm-9.30pm
Sundays: 3-4pm and 7.30-8.30pm

Matt is very proactive teacher who works at the wavelength of the student. He provides me with a lot of extra resources outside the lesson to work on independently. He also tailors my needs by specifically addressing my weaknesses. He can breakdown complex problems into simple questions and also provides me with examiner tips. He is an ideal teacher for any GCSE student.

We are so pleased we found Matt. I was nervous to use an online tutor at first preferring face to face but Matt uses so many resources online that it really is no different, if not better. My son is finding the sessions really helpful in prep for his GCSEs. Matt also sets him work in between to keep the momentum going. All in all, very happy!
