Florence

Hello! I`m Flo, a second year English undergraduate at the University of Cambridge. I`m friendly, approachable and incredibly passionate about everything literature and history related. In my opinion, finding things funny, even when they`re not supposed to be, makes studying ten times easier (I`m a firm believer that Shakespeare`s tragedies are simultaneously comedies, and vice versa).

Experience: I was recently a mentor for the Cambridge Access and Outreach program, to encourage Year 12 pupils from low-socioeconomical backgrounds to apply to Oxbridge. Seeing as it wasn`t long ago that I took my own GCSES and A levels myself, I understand how overwhelming and intense these exams can be.
I achieved A*A*A* in my A Levels (English Literature, History (Modern), Fine Art) with an A* in the EPQ also.
I have 10 GCSEs all at grades 7-9, with grade 9s in English Literature and History.
Although the principles in approaching a text remain the same, I have more familiarity with OCR exam boards for A Level; WJEC and Edexcel for GCSE.
