I have worked in the education sector for 13 years working with secondary school students. Teaching has been a passion of mine for 20+ years; I began teaching piano when I was 15 years old. I keep my expectations for achievement high and this gives my students a confidence boost because somebody believes that they are capable of doing hard things. I am able to teach content in different ways depending on the needs and learning styles of my students. I am able to adapt my teaching strategy to maximise student outcomes and I get excellent feedback from my private tutoring clients. I am always reflective and looking for ways to improve my students` tuition experience. I have experience working with SEND students.

Experience: I taught for 1 year (2012) at a girls boarding school in South Africa, 8 years at a leading Independent school in Surrey (2013-2021) and I have been tutoring for 3 years both privately and with an agency (Justin Craig Education).
I have had a form group for the entirety of my teaching career and I have also worked closely with students applying through UCAS for Medicine and Medical careers. This includes preparing students for BMAT and UKCAT, assisting with personal statements etc
