Information about Rachael
I have been teaching for 11 years and have worked in two primary schools. I have taught all age groups from nursery age all through to children in KS2. As I am creative, I ensure children’s learning is fun and engaging. I am able to adapt my teaching to suit individuals needs. I am able to assess children to establish what level they are working at and from this can identify the next steps needed for them to make progress.

Experience: Completed my PGCE at the university of Birmingham and then my Masters in Education two years later.
I have taught in Nursery, Reception, Years 1, 2 and 5 and have a secure grasp of the National Curriculum throughout Key Stages one and two.
I was recently appointed English lead and therefore am extremely knowledgeable about the importance of the teaching of reading and how children can develop strategies to help them become a successful reader.
