My name is Katherine (Dr PhD).

Having completed my PhD in the mathematical area of Data Assimilation, I have been working as a Maths tutor for 10+ consecutive years. In that time, I have brought exceptional success to my students with their 11+, entrance exams, GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level examinations.

Having solidified a career in this industry and been inundated with requests, I branched out to work with other remarkable maths tutors who have since joined my business. The tutors who work for this company are selected for their exceptional performance in past maths exams and have been identified as having brilliant communication skills.

One the the key incentives for us as tutors is to install confidence in a student`s ability, which subsequently leads to massive improvements.

We specialise in being knowledgeable private maths tutors with many years of experience. All of our tutors have expertise in every topic area of maths, at the required subject level, to the highest standard.

We can help unlock your full potential by providing one-to-one or group online lessons.


We provide both group and one-to-one lessons online.

We currently run five hourly group sessions (with a maximum of six students in each), but are looking to setup two additional classes for GCSE years (Years 10 & 11) and another entrance exam/11+ preparation group.

Personalized Attention

When we first start working with a student, it is important to assess ability by working through problems. There are two key aspects to bring success: (1) understanding the method, (2) practice makes perfect. Our teaching approach ensures that these are both well met. With online one-to-one tuition (over zoom), a personalised google classroom page is set up for the student. Lesson notes are uploaded after each lesson along with homework. The students` homework is then to be uploaded and marks are recorded online. It is a fantastic way to keep all notes, homework and assessments in one place - and to record each student`s performance and improvements.

121 tuition allows us to focus on the key topics areas the student is finding more difficult, whether this is understanding the essentials to keep up at school or pushing for an A*.


GROUP LESSONS
Customized Group Lessons to Fit 11+ and GCSE Students

We know how difficult it can be to find a reliable teacher that focuses on Group Lessons. We only allow students in the same group class that are matched very closely in ability. This may mean if you are the first in a new group, you could be getting 121 for around half the price! We teach group lessons on zoom and set up a group google classroom page with all students having access to lesson notes, homeworks and more. Each week students should complete a homework and upload prior to the next lesson. We focus topics based on the topics the specific group find harder. This enables us not to waste time going through the whole maths syllabus and instead teach the keys areas that will enhance the students marks considerably.
