Verity

I am a highly experienced teacher and maths specialist with over 15 years of experience. I have a 1st class honours in primary education and a deep understanding of how different children learn. This has helped me to support children I work with make rapid progress.

My philosophy is to create a safe and friendly environment to make learning fun for the children I work with. This safe environment helps me support them to overcome any barriers they may have, whilst building their self-confidence. When your child feels safe and confident in their learning, then they are most likely to make accelerated progress.

With confident learners my approach is the same, as I continue to challenge them and deepen their understanding of each subject, allowing them to excel.

Availability: I am available after school hours - in person and online.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: With experience teaching both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, I have the resources and expertise to help in maths, reading, writing, phonics and grammar. I am also highly experienced in supporting children through primary SATs and examinations removing stress and anxiety whilst giving them strategies to support them.
