I am a fully qualified and practising maths specialist teacher with nearly twenty years experience.
Availability: Evenings and weekends.
I can also offer online tutoring through Googlemeet.

Experience: I am able to help and guide students with their GCSE, IGCSE and A level exam preparation.
With the recent changes in the GCSE syllabus and A level syllabus it is vital students are fully prepared and confident in the skills of mathematics and their application to problem solving.
By offering a professional, supportive and well guided tutoring service I firmly believe excellent progress can be made by all students.

My son was half way through year 11 and felt that he could be doing better in his maths, leading up to his GCSE’s. We asked Ian to do some tutoring with him, focusing on the topics that he was unsure about. With each tutoring lesson, I could see my son’s confidence in maths growing and the progress being made. When it came to doing his exams, he felt really well prepared.
Ian was very professional. Each tutoring lesson was extremely well planned (but also versatile) using the latest maths materials and information. He explained things very clearly and kept my son engaged throughout. Highly recommended.
