Hi, My name is Sara. I am a very experienced Mathematics / English / Art / MS Excel / Arabic tutor with a first class degree in Mathematics and A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, English, Arabic and Art.

Maths/English Experience:
I have over 10 years of experience as a tutor, 2 years experience working as a teachers assistant in a secondary school, as well as 1 year experience working a Maths teacher in an elementary school. The age ranges i have taught vary from 5-18 (and also a few adult students).

MS Excel Experience:
I have 4 years of experience working as an analyst, in which i have mastered the use of MS excel. I am a very advanced user of excel and have taken a few excel courses in the duration of my career as an analyst.

Art experience:
I have been drawing and painting since a very young age, and held many art exhibitions. My main form of art work is sketching and painting (Acrylic, oils and Water colours).

Arabic experience:
In addition to having studied arabic since a young age, I have completed my GCSE and A-level courses in Arabic, and tutored arabic to various students for the past 6 years.

My varied experience has given me the ability to adapt my teaching skills differently to every student, and find different ways of working with students of different ages.

Tutoring Approach:
During the first session i usually focus on discovering strengths and weaknesses in a student so i could focus on them initially.
I prepare lesson before hand.
I focus on exam past papers for students doing SATs or GCSE exams.
I start the lesson off with a 10 minute recap from the week before.
Set targets and goals for the student to work towards.
Give student homework based on lessons.
