Experience: I taught English to KS3 and KS4 in a local Village College (that had an 81% pass rate for GCSEs). I left because I wanted to spend more time with my young family. Students in my classes always met or exceeded their targets and I was at the top of the Upper Pay Scale because of this.

As a private Tutor for the past two decades, I have also helped many students to pass their exams and feel privileged to have had the chance to help young people succeed. There is a great joy to be found in helping a student develop their understanding in an area they were having difficulty in.

I have taught KS2,KS3,KS4 and A Level students, and English as a foreign language. My main specialism is GCSE AQA English Literature and AQA English Language. I have experience of teaching Edexcel, Wjec.
