Hi All!
I am Sonia and I have been passionate about foreign languages since I was a kid. Polish is my mother tongue, however, I was always interested in other cultures and languages. As a result, I would like to help those who either need some translation job to be done or those who need private tuition. Mostly, I teach English and Maths (EYFS, Primary & KS3). I also give classes to those who would like to learn an extra language (Beiginners - Intermediate).

Education History:
-Graduated from the University of Manchester (2017) and obtained MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies
-Graduated from The University of Manchester (2016) and obtained BA (Hons) in Middle Eastern Studies and Modern European Languages with distinction in Arabic
-Attended International School in Poland and obtained International Baccalaureate Diploma

Professional Qualifications:
-Private Language Tutor for over a year in the UK
-Polish Translator and Resource Creator
-Participating in CAT tools and Language Projects
-Teaching English to learners as EAL (English as Additional Language)

Approach to Tutoring:
-Using a variety of stimulating resources (e.g. Reading Comprehensions, Writing Frames, Word Mats, Word Cards, Challenging Cards, PowerPoint Quizzes, etc)
-Choosing the resources according to student’s level and needs
-Listening carefully
-Prioritising student’s work

Availability: Weekdays from 4:30pm
Weekends (any time)
