I have always been fascinated by languages and my overall aim is to provide a safe environment in which to learn and experiment with language. I welcome tutees of any age. Although I usually teach face-to-face, I can switch to online lessons via Zoom, if necessary.
I can also help with spelling, punctuation and grammar in English.
Availability: I am available during the day, some evenings and Saturdays.

Experience: Since qualifying as a languages teacher, I spent over 20 years teaching languages in a local secondary school. I now run small groups for home educated children at both primary and secondary level as well as tutoring on a one-to-one basis.
Before qualifying as a teacher, I spent over two years living and working in Austria where I taught English to adult learners.
