Hello there!
I am a fully qualified tutor with 3 years of teaching experience, including experience teaching in secondary schools and homeschooling. I have an undergraduate degree in Radiology with the University of Exeter ; Medical School. Having undergone Biology, English language and literature for my A levels , I am familiar with the current GCSE and A level requirements across the different exam boards.
I am skilled at helping pupils develop the skills needed to succeed with the current GCSE specifications, including reading comprehension, writing skills in a variety of styles, spelling, punctuation and grammar, as well as literature. This is in addition to experience in tutoring 11 Plus English, Maths Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
I am a very friendly and approachable person and experienced in teaching a variety of different ability levels. I use a variety of teaching methods to make learning interesting and fun, in order to get the best out of my students. I am skilled at establishing pupils` individual learning needs and tailoring lessons to ensure they can make as much progress as possible. I have a number of pupils and aim to make lessons well structured ensuring that pupils gain knowledge and pass.
I have a strong academic record, achieving 9 A* and A grades at GCSE and 3 A grades at A level.
My subject specialisms are Biology, English Language & Literature.
Availability: Fully flexible after school and on weekends only!

Experience: I have been a tutor for the past three years and have covered topics including English language and literature on all levels from primary, key stage three, A levels and for adult learners too. I can completely empathise with students who feel anxious about their examinations , and have seen first hand how my expertise has helped students develop both their confidence and independent thinking.
