I am a fully qualified Science Teacher who works in an OUTSTANDING rated secondary school in London. I completed my PGCE 7 years ago and I`ve been teaching full-time since then.
I have taught the different exam boards and I am confident to teach Physics, Biology and Chemistry at GCSE level and Physics and Biology at A-level.
As a full-time teacher, I am aware that different students learn in different ways, so I am able to adapt my teaching to suit the students` needs. I have a very good profile of raising grades and my students believe that I make understanding science easy.
I have worked as an examiner to mark the GCSE papers. Therefore, I am very familiar with the exam-type questions and what examiners look for in the answers and also the common mistakes that students might make in answering questions.
I also hold a Masters degree in Cancer Biology which demonstrates my strong subject knowledge that helps students understand the topics in depth.
Over years of experience, I have learnt what makes students lose marks and I help them in learning the topic, reading and understanding the questions and how to maximise the marks achieved.
