Information about Zahra
An Iranian lawyer with experience of working in both the corporate and private sectors. I spent 13 years as head of the Legal Department of a leading company in Iran and then 14 years leading my own firm as a self-employed barrister.
I also have experience as a teacher in Iran, working with 13-16 year olds teaching English, Farsi and Social Science.
Availability: Available Wednesday (mornings), Thursday & Friday (all day, including evening) and Sundays
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Experience of working with a variety of ages and capabilities. Patient and encouraging teaching style, I can help with both academic and conversational Farsi.

Zari tutored me for around a year and I can say with confidence that she is an excellent Farsi teacher! She uses a combination of book-led learning as well as setting her own tasks for students to complete. I loved hearing her stories about her life growing up and living in Iran. She has a vast knowledge of Iranian history and culture which adds much to the experience of learning Farsi with her. Zahra has been my tutor for about 6 months now. The educational book she suggests buying is quite pricey but is very useful. Zahra is very patient with me and when I am struggling she makes sure we revisit the same section in the next lesson. I highly reccommend.

Zahra has been tutoring me for around a year and I have made fantastic progress with her. I can strongly recommend her to anyone who is interested in learning Persian.
I started off with a solid grounding in grammar but with a low level of speaking, writing and reading. Zahra has helped me develop all aspects of my Persian and her teaching style is very encouraging. She is very adaptive to my requirements, always responsive and punctual and she has a vast knowledge of Persian culture, politics and history.
She is a great teacher and I am delighted to be her student!
