Hey! I`m Becky, I have been tutoring students for several years - specialising in English literature and English Language (GCSE level). I aim to equip students with the literacy skills they will need for life - not just to pass an exam! I believe every student is capable of passing their English GCSE examinations, if they are taught in a way in which it makes it accessible for them. My style of teaching firstly focuses on building the student`s self-esteem and then equipping them with the tools they need to access the work, according to their learning style.

Experience: I have four years experience teaching English in London secondary schools, this is a job I am extremely passionate about and proud of. I have experience wor across all year groups within the secondary school cohort, so I am familiar with a wide range of the curriculum. I have an interest in wor with SEN and lower ability groups - as this suits my teaching style of being extremely patient, repetition and recall of tasks, learning through games etc.
