Hi, my mane is Dr. Ben . My degree is in Theoretical Physics, and my PhD is in Applied Mathematics, which included teaching undergraduate students as well as conducting my own research in the Astro particle Theory and Cosmology department. I then went on to become a software developer, but have since decided that I would prefer teaching after doing some voluntary work with Action Tutoring, which is a charity that helps with teaching students at schools in disadvantaged areas.

Experience: As part of my PhD I taught Mathematics to students who were in the first 4 years of their degree. I was also a personal tutor to a neighbour who wanted to do well in his Mathematics and Further Mathematics A levels in order to get a place at Cambridge University, which he did. I then went on to become a software developer for 7 years, but preferred teaching.
