Information about Hamza
I have over 5 years of tutoring experience after starting tutoring in my free time at secondary school (lunchtimes and afterschool clubs). I have a proven track record both in terms of qualifications and the results of the kids I have taught over the years. I articulate complex ideas in simple ways and look to engage, interact and get the best out of kids. I spend a lot of time preparing for my lessons to ensure they are relevant and fun, with use of humour and anecdotes to bring everything to life.
My experience in tutoring Maths students has helped me to understand that each student works at a particular level and has a different style of learning. Therefore, I adapt my teaching methods to best fit each individual and provide an efficient teaching and learning experience. Throughout secondary school I was an avid public speaker and debater, and continue to do so; this has significantly refined my communication abilities.
I am currently studying Law at Kings College London. Through the course of my education, I have always been a high-achieving, well rounded student having achieved 4 As at A-Levels (including Maths) and 7 A*s and 5 As at GCSEs (A* in Applications in Maths, and A in Methods in Maths). I have recently sat the A-Level and GCSE Maths Exams, so have the content fresh in my mind and can put myself in the shoes of my students, focusing on content and exam technique. I am also young so will engage better with the students, and build a good rapport with them.
Education plays a key part in every childs development and I tailor my approach to ensure they are given the best possible chance to learn. Along with my qualifications and experience, what sets me apart is my passion to educate kids and see them succeed.
