Information about Kimberley
Hi,
I have successfully been offering support and tuition for several years, not only in Secondary Schools but also at University Level. All of my Tutees have achieved results I am proud of and gone on to achieve successful careers and University places.
No Tutees are ever alike so first I assess them on what they need to know and what their individual learning style is.I use this information to then tailor a personalised tutor programme. This can be anything from different learning styles (Kinaesthetic such as model making, Auditory such as podcasts or visual such as videos), exam techniques and working on weaknesses rather than just teaching content alone. It is important to emphasise that the exams are the hardest they have been for a long time so not only must learners understand the content but also the methodology on how to answer the exam question, if they want to achieve the top marks.
I am a qualified teacher working in the West Midlands with previous experience of tutoring. I specialise in Biology, Chemistry and Physics At Key Stage 3 and 4 and Biology through to A Level. I have just designed the new scheme of work for GCSE and A Level and therefore I am well versed in the new specification requirements for the upcoming examinations. I have worked with learners from primary level through to Postgraduate University level so can adapt to Tutees requirements and discretions.
I recognise that College and University places are becoming increasingly competitive. With costs increasing young people will be looking for scholarships and will require the best grades possible in order to do apply for these and to help with costs.
I have worked on and delivered courses from a range of exam boards (OCR, AQA, EDEXCEL) and different qualification types including GCSE, Applied GCSE, BTEC, GNVQ, A-level and Applied A-level.
Please contact me if you have any questions I am happy to help.

Excellent tutor my daughter is now doing really well in her Biology subject. She is extremely knowledgeable in this area, and is very pleasant and understanding. Would highly recommend.
