I am a friendly, patient and flexible teacher who can tailor my methods to suit different styles of learning. Children learn in different ways and I use a range of methods including games and ICT to support children`s progress. I have seen how one to one tutoring has helped my students develop their confidence in subjects and improve their skills which has helped them make progress at school.
I am also a qualified yoga teacher and enjoy both teaching and practising yoga as well as baking cakes, reading and walking my dog.

Experience: I have been a primary school teacher for the past 15 years, working in both Solihull and Birmingham. I have teaching experience across all year groups in KS2 and also experience of KS1 and teaching small intervention groups for writing, reading and maths. I am an experienced Year 6 teacher so understand what is required to prepare children for SATs.
I have worked as an Assistant Headteacher most recently for 5 years where I was responsible for progress across year groups, developing teachers in all areas of the curriculum as well as planning and teaching the KS2 curriculum.
