I`m a PhD student in Synthetic Biology at Imperial College London, and studied my MRes there too, but I have moved to Nottingham for research purposes. I began this PhD following an undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Sheffield with industrial experience at GSK. I have 2 brothers currently completing their GCSE / A-Levels at the moment, so empathise with anyone doing the same! I`m keen to help out with Science and Maths at GCSE level, and the three Sciences at A-Level, having done these myself, and Molecular Biology related bachelors subjects (e.g. Genetics, biochemistry, Microbiology).

Other than main subject tuition, I`m around to discuss career options in and around the Sciences. Friends of mine are now working in patent law, litigation, PhDs, accountancy, management, consulting, teaching and more, so I`ll happily have discussions about career options based on their experiences, and can ask them any questions you may have!

Availability: Evenings after 6 pm Monday to Thursday

Experience: I`ve been working as a graduate teaching assistant for the Imperial College London undergraduate course in Biochemistry and Biotechnology since starting my PhD, and I tutored maths to GCSE students in school during the first year of my A-Levels.
