Simon Adam

I have over 15 years experience of teaching and working with young people. I was also previously a youth worker at Wrexham council and have taught across all the key stages from primary into adult learning. I have extensive experience of planning lessons across multiple subjects and have a proven track record of teaching and tutoring. I have completed a Masters level qualification in Humanities teaching. At the moment I am teaching politics a level and citizenship gcse and key stage 3. I am also the head of these respective departments. I have previously been a full time teacher History & Humanities and have taught english up to gcse level. I have also worked as a supply teacher in my local area and continue to mark for exam boards (welsh bac) . In my spare leisure time I enjoy, debating, acting and keeping fit. I am approachable and engaging and enjoy bringing subjects to life, and genuinely believer that every child matters and can fulfil their potential

Availability: Thursday evenings after 6pm

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: Extensive experience as a teacher and tutor of Politics A level. I have taught multiple exam boards to large groups and one to one tution. Well versed in exam content and exam technique. Have also been a head of politics.
