I am a friendly calm person who is very good at developing personal learning programmes which enable the individual to achieve his or her own personal goals. As a principle I seek to own the goals of the person I am teaching and gear my content to their interests as far as possible.

I get a great deal of satisfaction watching someone who has worked at a topic suddenly get it as all the pieces fall into place.

I take an interest in the individual learning styles of my pupils and try to adapt my lessons to those of the learner.

Experience: I am a graduate Mechanical Engineer and a qualified teacher. I taught physics and maths at secondary level (Key stages 3 and GCSE) for 10 years. My qualification is for post compulsory education but my teaching experience was in a private school hence the GCSE teaching.

I offer Maths at Ks3, GCSE and Physics at GCSE.

I have been tutoring now for over 10 years.

Outside of teaching Maths and physics I am involved in running training and workshops to equip and enable people in the various areas of their interests.
