Friendly and enthusiastic biomedical engineer graduate (at King`s College London (KCL)) with a keen interest in Maths and Sciences. Recently completed an MSc in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering at University College London (UCL) graduating with a distinction. Currently completing a 4 year PhD at UCL where I am focusing on cardiac tissue engineering via the creation of engineered tissue scaffolds, combined with stem cell technologies.

I am very friendly and approachable. Having lived in Germany, Panama, Spain and the UK has made me open-minded and very proactive. I can also tutor Spanish and Catalan.

Experience: - Private tutoring in the UK from Jan 16 to April 18 where I taught one-to-one lessons of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Spanish and English to students aged 10-17.

- Worked as a teaching volunteer in the Philippines (Jose Rizal Elementary and Middle School) where I planned and delivered maths, science and english curriculum to non-native english speaking children (aged 8 to 14) on a daily basis. Facilitated innovative and interactive lesson plans to engage and maximise learning and development.

- Volunteered as a Peer Mentor during my undergraduate degree at KCL, where I gave support, guidance and advice to first year Biomedical Engineering students. I assisted to induction activities during the welcome week and kept in contact throughout the course answering doubts and questions on the subjects I previously covered.
