I am a freelance writer living in London. I graduated with a 2:1 in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, after attending Westminster School in central London. I subsequently spent a year working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school in east London.

Because of my academic background, I understand the demands of GCSE and A-level exams and how to meet them, and because of my experience working with young people, I understand that we all learn in different ways and at different speeds, so I will try to find a way of working that feels right for you or your son or daughter so they can achieve the best results possible.

Availability: Negotiable. Weekday evenings or weekends both possible.

Experience: I worked for a year as a teaching assistant in a secondary school in Mile End, in east London, providing academic and pastoral support to young people with a range of ages and abilities. One of my responsibilities was creating and delivering after-school tutoring to small groups of students who needed extra help preparing for their GCSE exams.
