I am a 23 year old Italian master student enrolled at the University of York. I am currently study Applied Linguistics, however, my previous major has been in French and German Languages and Translation. I have much interest in languages and language teaching, literature (especially French literature) and sport. I also like helping children and young learners with their difficulties.

At the UoY, I am learning how to teach a language in a fun and effective way which is often more effective than the traditional techniques.

Experience: In terms of working experience, I used to work in an immigration centre in Italy as Italian teacher. I also gave French, Spanish and English private lessons to secondary school learners. Finally, I used to volunteer in an association whose aim was to help young students out after school for their homework and learning concerns.

In terms of academic achievement, I got a first honour degree in French and German languages and transation at the University of Rome La Sapienza. I attended an intensive German course in Berlin in 2017. I also spent six months in Brussels while studying at the University Saint-Louis attending lectures and taking exams in French.
