As a private tutor my aim is to meet the needs of the parents and their children. Although needs may be different, enjoying learning, being confident and discovering one`s interests are aspects that we all hope to develop. Gaining qualifications and a place at college or university can be easily achieved through effort and time however, creativity, intuition, independence, critical thinking and confidence are brought to fruition through guided projects, presentations and discussions. These skills, once developed and strengthed, are transferred into all areas of life.

I have been teaching for over 15 years and delivering lesson in English, Science and Mathematics. Home tutoring has also been a part of my life ever since I attended University.
I like to include meditation practice as part of relaxing when learning and philosophical discussion as a means to encourage crtical and intuitive thinking.
Although qualifications are a necessity for gaining a place at College and University, employers on the other hand are more interested in those students who can `think out of the box` and express their ideas clearly. This is key to my tutoring.
