I have a PhD in nuclear physics, a Masters degree in physics, and I currently work in the nuclear industry for a Chesire based consultancy firm.

During my PhD I spent some time teaching undergrads. I enjoyed seeing progress in the students, as well as the process of explaining complicated ideas in an accessible way.

While I enjoy my current job in industry I also miss the link to education, and am keen to get into private tutoring and pass on some of my enthusiasm for science!

Availability: Weekday evenings from 6pm

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have experience teaching in undergraduate physics classes during my PhD - my role was a `student demonstrator`, helping students to solve problems in tutorial classes.

My experience in physics comes from 2 years industry experience, a PhD in experimental nuclear physics and an undergraduate in physics.
