I am a qualified Second in Science and Head of Biology/Science teacher (PGCE)with 25 years teaching experience at a local OFSTED Outstanding school. I have also been providing personal tuition for pupils during these years alongside my teaching posts.

I have been an examiner for A level AQA for over 15 years and I use this experience to ensure students reach their full potential. I am fully aware of the mistakes that pupils make on exam papers and the areas that they find challenging. I regularly mark the essay paper and so am able to give examiner guidance on this area. I have also marked AQA GCSE in the last five years and this gives me an insight into the specification requirements.

I have also had several years experience now of tutoring pupils for OCR A level examinations.

I am based in Congleton where I usually tutor at home. However I can occasionally tutor in Macclesfield as an after school slot.

Availability: After school, evenings, weekends

During the pandemic I am able to do online lessons.
