I am an experienced teacher with high professional standards and aspirations. I have been teaching for 30 years in a wide variety of schools and teaching posts. I am a passionate teacher with excellent subject knowledge. I have extensive experience of teaching at KS3, KS4 both Science and Biology and Biology at KS5.
Availability: I am very flexible outside normal teaching hours. This includes the holidays, with some exceptions.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have taught in a wide variety of schools and appreciate the demands of each one. I have experience of teaching in non-selective schools, grammar schools and an international style school in the UK.
I have a good track record at all levels, KS3, KS4 and KS5. The latter includes Biology A level, Biology IB and Applied Science.
I have extensive experience of teaching Biology to pre-university students that have English as a Second Language.
I have been tutoring regularly for six years and enjoy the different experience and challenges.
