Information about Sarah
***Updated availability: I am currently full. I will update here if any slots become available***
I have a PhD in Physics from Imperial College London and have several years experience tutoring both Maths and Physics across the secondary age range.
I am currently offering tutoring in Physics up to and including A Level and Maths up to and including GCSE.
During my PhD, I worked on both an award winning neutrino experiment in Japan and also the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
I have been tutoring since 2013, and I have also worked as a teaching assistant in an international school and so am very confident working with and teaching children.
I believe that one-to-one tutoring can be extremely effective to boost a child`s confidence in the subject and to tackle problem areas of the course. It is a great pleasure to me when I see a student improving.
Availability: After school and early evening on weekdays.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have been tutoring Maths and Physics since 2013 (references available on request).

Masters degree in Physics from Oxford University
PhD in Physics from Imperial College London

Sarah is an amazing physics tutor. She explains topics clearly and focuses in on any areas of difficulty. She is knowledgeable of the syllabus and always comes to sessions well prepared. My son`s understanding of physics and exam technique have improved considerably since tuition started.
