Experienced Outstanding Primary Teacher | SATs Specialist | SEND & Confidence Building | Years 5–7

I currently have availability for booster sessions for pupils in Years 5, 6 and 7, helping them strengthen their skills and hit the ground running when they return to school in September.

I am an experienced primary school teacher who has taught across all primary year groups, with extensive knowledge of the Year 6 SATs curriculum and the skills children need to succeed. Whether your child would benefit from targeted support before SATs, help closing learning gaps, or simply a confidence boost, I provide personalised lessons tailored to their individual needs.

Alongside mainstream teaching, I have extensive experience working in a specialist setting, supporting children with a wide range of SEND needs, particularly speech, language and communication difficulties. My calm, patient and nurturing approach enables every child to feel confident, supported and motivated to learn.

I currently teach in Dagenham and live in Hornchurch. I am happy to tutor either from my home or travel to your home where appropriate.

My lessons have been graded Outstanding by my headteacher, and references are available on request. I am passionate about helping children achieve their potential in English and mathematics, and I adapt every lesson to suit each child’s learning style. All resources are provided, allowing sessions to be engaging, well-structured and stress-free for families.

Availability: I am available weekdays, weekends and evenings.

Experience: I have 20 years experience having taught in Havering and now Barking and Dagenham. I trained in year six and have also taught in years 3,4 and 5. I have also worked in a SEND provision working with children with a range of communication and language needs.
