Over 20 years experience of teaching. Able to teach GCSE and A Level Mathematics to motivated learners.
Use a variety of methods including teaching with technology.
Familiar with IB New Analyses & Approaches, Applications and Interpretations courses for 2020 onwards (Cat. 1 Certified November 2019). New 9-1 GCSE Mathematics Curriculum.
Also have iGCSE, IB teaching experience.
Availability: Monday to Friday:

CAN TEACH IN CENTRAL LONDON: 17:30 hrs onwards in the London area
Weekends: 12 noon onwards (hours to be agreed)

Andrew is extremely personable, and my son is very relaxed with him. Andrew was quick to assess my son thoroughly and has given us detailed feedback on areas that can be improved. Andrew is paving the way to helping my son long term, not just with his ability in KS3 maths, but also with his confidence. Andrew is prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I`m pleased we found Andrew via Tutor Hunt and I wouldn`t hesitate to recommend him to anyone else looking to tutor their child.

Andrew was quick to assess where my mathematical shortcomings were and address them. I have found him patient, encouraging and good at explanations.
Whereas when at school I disliked maths, he manages to make learning it fun
I am happy with his teaching methods and am confident he will get me to the required level for my future needs.

My son reports that Andrew is supportive, positive and encouraging. He feels Andrew is able to quickly assess his strengths and needs and adapt work accordingly. So far, my son feels he is making progress on a particular A`level unit that he had been struggling with.
From my point of view - Andrew communicates arrangements effectively and is reliable, is willing to give a brief feed-back on sessions, is always exceptionally well-mannered and is very welcome in our home. It is evident to me that he has motivated my son as he has very positive attitude towards the tutor sessions.
