Hi! My name is Samuel , a soon to be Foundation Year Doctor in South Thames. I`ll have studied medicine at UCL in London, having achieved a first class honours in medical sciences with physiology (BSc). I did the international baccalaureate at Sevenoaks School for sixth form and got 43 points out of 45, achieving the maximum mark in Biology and Chemistry (a 7). I also achieved well into an A* at IGCSE in these subjects.

I look to support all students regardless of what grade they`re aiming for and tailor each lesson appropriately.

I also specialise in medical preparation, with this including interview practice, advice on various parts of the application process and help with the BMAT/UKCAT. These parts are all essential for getting into medical school!

The structure of my lessons will be primarily based upon the syllabus. By going through the syllabus topic by topic it`s easy to ensure everything is covered and that the right amount of detail is covered (it will specifically say in the syllabus how much detail they want for each topic). Whilst going through the syllabus, it`s obviously important to test throughout, and so I will prepare practice questions/past paper questions for my students to do and for me to mark and provide feedback on. I think doing both these things side by side is the key to success. Learning knowledge and making sure you know HOW to answer the questions. It can often be frustrating for students when they know all the knowledge but don`t write down particular things that will score them marks, that`s where I hopefully can come in (helping with exam technique).

It`s also important to be enthusiastic and encouraging, and I believe I am!
