Information about Segev
I am currently a Masters` student, studying mathematics at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. Previously I completed the Mathematical Tripos at Pembroke College, University of Cambridge, graduating in July 2021. My specific mathematical interests lie in algebra and geometry, however I have extensive experience in learning, teaching, and researching topics across all of maths and physics.
For school I attended JFS School, where my grades include 6A* in Maths, Further Maths, Further Add. Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and S,1 in STEP II, III. Aside from academics I am a competitive swimmer at a national level.

Experience: - Mathematics tutoring: Online tutoring for mathematics at all levels – from primary school to university level (Including exam preparation for students at UCL and LSE). Prepared PDF notes for students on difficult topics. Worked on specific material for coursework and other project work.
- Physics tutoring: Online tutoring for GCSE and A-level Physics, with an extra focus on practical skills which form a crucial component of the new A-levels, and thinking like a Physicist.
- STEP tutoring: Online tutoring for STEP preparation; marked past papers and discussed them during lessons
- Oxbridge admissions: Prepared students for Oxbridge admissions with mock interviews, admissions exams and general advice; successful applicants include mathematics and computer science students.
- Solution and notes writing: Produced exemplar solutions for A-level and university level mathematics and Physics; these have been used by students to solidify their understanding and explore new topics.
- President of Maths support club (2016-2018): Tutoring for students as recommended by their teachers, including exam preparation, homework discussion and help, and extra material of interest for more advanced students.
