I am an experienced secondary Maths teacher with over 10 years of in school experience with all ability levels. I have consistently supported my students to be confident and believe that they can do Maths. I challenge my students with varieties of tasks to achieve their potentials. My students start from familiar to unfamiliar topics using step by step methods and they learn from making mistakes. I also help my students to develop the growth mindset which I strongly believe in; that any student can achieve WHATEVER they put their mind to achieve. I am an Edexcel Maths Examiner/Marker and this helps to inform my teaching. Students learn differently; I use different ways to explain a task so that every student should be able to access the lesson and make good progress.
