UPDATE.

Due to Corono virus I have to offer lessons but not, for the time being, face to face. I have therefore set up an online system using software, and a graphics tablet to deliver lessons to my students. This allows them to see what I write and for me to email them copies of lesson notes. This is working well. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information. My rate is per session which means that on average I am doing lessons of around 75-80 mins for the same price - my priority is to the student not the time or money.

I am a highly experienced graduate Mathematics teacher at Secondary school level. I have taught maths to GCSE, `A` level and Further Maths throughout my career - I am proud of the results my students achieved. After two years in the profession I was appointed as a Head of Maths and in the past I undertook a significant amount of work for examination boards.

I still love Maths and enjoy helping and supporting people by tutoring them, usually in their own homes. Over the years I have tutored all abilities from 11 to 19 years of age as well as some adults. I am told that I am approachable and easy to get on with. I aim to make the lessons enjoyable as well as productive. I try to help understanding as well as giving one to one support with a lot of practice, giving useful tips as well as step by step stages to solve problems.

I can provide testimonials from those who I currently tutor or those who I have supported in the past. In addition I charge half price for my first lesson so you can decide if my tutoring suites your needs.

Normally I am available in North Shields, Whitley Bay, New York, Shiremoor, Monkseaton, Wallsend areas - within about 5 miles of my address OR you can travel to me.

Availability: Very flexible - daytime or evenings including weekends - I get most of my tuition`s through personal recommendations.
