Richard is helping our son with GCSE physics. He is also able to help with chemistry and biology, which is a huge bonus. He is very well organised, encouraging and thorough, which means we’ve covered a lot of the tricky areas in a short time. He has a calm and kind manner and immediately put our son at ease. He’s also helping him to organise his revision into a manageable workload. He’s been a great find.

Further to my feedback in April 2018 I can confirm that we continued to have Richard right up to the GCSE exams in 2019 and we are very happy with the results for the three sciences.

Richard has managed to instill a good methodical work ethic in our son whilst being able to engage him in all of the subjects .

We are now in 6th form and whilst 3 of the A`level choices are languages the 4th is Physics which makes that an unusual mix but that is probably down to Richard making that connection possible for him. And whilst we are only a couple of weeks in, Physics at the moment does not seem as daunting and he seems to be enjoying the subject again, even helping explain to his friend, something he could not have done before.

So Richard giving him that good base of knowledge and confidence has really helped him to springboard into the course. If for any reason we should need additional support then Richard would be the first person we would contact because we have seen the difference he made.

My daughter is covering year 10 work with Richard in the run up to GCSEs. She is responding very well to his teaching methods and he has successfully managed to re-build her confidence - she is now achieving level 7`s in class tests.

My daughter was really struggling with science, so I engaged Richard. I am so glad I did as, after only a few weeks tuition, my daughters confidence and knowledge was sufficient that she passed her combined science with a 5/4. I am sure she would not have achieved this without Richards patience insight and encouragement. I would highly recommend Richard

We have only just started but to date even after a couple of sessions we are seeing a difference in our sons confidence and willingness to engage in the subject. Richard is calm and through discussion can make the penny drop - to the point that the second session was described as being "amazing".

Richard is kindly covering all the three sciences and is flexible as he never knows which topic he is going to be asked on his arrival.

We are pleased with how it is going, pleased that science is being opened up to make sense and glad that they seem to get on which helps make this all work.

We will look to feedback later again further on in the process but would have no hesitation to recommend Richard because the changes are already noticeable.

Richard was prompt in responding to my request for an A level Physics tutor for my son and quickly assessed and started working with him in preparation for his A level. I feel confident that Richard`s one to one tuition will help to secure my sons needed grade.
