Hello

My name is Shelley and I am currently studying a degree in Mathematics at the University of Hertfordshire. I am currently completing the second year of a four year course. I passed my first year with 1st Class result which I was extremely pleased about. In my spare time I enjoy reading, knitting and spending time with my friends and I am also working on a level 3 qualification in British Sign Language.

Availability: At the moment I have availability on a Wednesday and Thursday evening or at the weekend.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I am returning to tutoring after just over a year off following a personal injury.
In the past I have privately tutored students from Year 8 all the way up to A Level. All of these students made significant progress which was positively recognised by both their parents and their schools. My previous students who sat exams all achieved one grade higher than predicted which was amazing.
I have previously worked in upper schools and middle schools as Learning Support Assistant, Cover Supervisor and I am currently a Communication Support Worker in a local middle school on my days off from university. I maintain a good relationship with teachers from the schools I have worked in so I am fully up to date on all of the curriculum and qualification changes, in particular the new SATs and GCSEs.
