I have just graduated from Oxford University with a 2.1 (1st in dissertation and coursework). I studied Biological Sciences and would love to help spread my love of science by helping students achieve their goals. During my time at school and college I gained 10 A*s,an A and a Distinction at GCSE and at A-level an A* in Biology, an A in Chemistry and an A in French, leading the way for me being awarded a Moritz-Heyman Scholarship at university. I am also able to give advice on the application process to Oxbridge (personal statements, interviews etc), a process which I know can seem very daunting at first, but after a chat with someone who has been through it, seems like a much more achievable and even exciting thing! Along with being passionate about science, I am also a creative individual and therefore will provide new and exciting approaches tailored to students personalities.

Availability: I am available from mid-September to give 1 hour or 2 hour sessions in evenings and at weekends

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: Although new to tutoring, I have considerable experience engaging students. I volunteered as an Access Ambassador throughout my time at university which involved leading tours and engaging smaller groups of students from Year 6 through to Year 13. I have also volunteered as an Interview Host, where I helped prospective students to feel relaxed and confident in their abilities. I am keen to apply my strong personal skills to tutoring.
