My name is Tymon and I live here in Bordon. I have recently graduated from Swansea University for Computer Science and over the past few months began tutoring. Therefore (if you are local), I would like to offer my services now to you and your child!
I offer Computer Science (GCSE & A-Level) tuition and Mathematics (GCSE ONLY!) tuition. I can do either online or face-to-face tuition.

Experience: I have been tutoring and working with young children and adults for a couple years now.

At University I had the opportunity to work as a Learning Demonstrator along with the academic staff. This meant that I supported running lab sessions by prepared for each session individually (by reviewing lab tasks, exploring possible solutions, and revising key module concepts) and assisting students by answering their questions, offering guidance and marking their solutions.

I already worked as an online Tutor for MyTutor during my studies. In this school`s would pay the platform for me to tutor their pupils as part of a National programme to help the students catch up given the disruption to learning caused by covid-19.

As part of my undergraduate degree I took a 10 week placement at a local school to teach Computer Science.

I have also been part of programs such as Reaching Wider which try and help inspire children aged 10 to 18 from underprivileged backgrounds to pursue higher education. As part of this I was able to mentor secondary and sixth form students offering 1:1 guidance on study skills/techniques, what university they should go to/what STEM-related subject or pathway they can explore in their career. This was also part of a National Programme.

Oh, I also plan to become a teacher!
