Experience: I have a degree in English Language and Literature and a Master`s degree in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
I have both GCSE and A Level English qualifications.
I currently work full-time in a secondary school as an English tutor/Mentor. I have excellent knowledge of the current texts studied as part of the GCSE syllabus. I work with pupils of all levels and abilities and can differentiate work according to pupil needs.
I am a calming and patient individual, which for many pupils I know is key. English has become an intense and extensive subject with a lot of material to cover. I understand that this can be both daunting and overwhelming. My aim is to support and develop pupil understanding and provide them with tools to acheive exam/assessement success!
