Information about Jordan
I am a maths graduate from the University of Bath and have recently set up a maths tutoring business. I am very enthusiastic about maths and, having recently been through the education system, I am very familiar with the specifications.
Availability: Very flexible, mainly weekends and evenings.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: When I was 16 years old, my enthusiasm for mathematics led me to successfully complete a full maths A-Level independently alongside my GCSEs 2 years early after teaching myself the content from the age of 13. I then started tutoring GCSE and A Level maths to a few students in my local area for fun and as a bit of experience communicating maths to others.
When I was in my second year of university, I decided to start tutoring again alongside my studies, and since graduating, I have been tutoring full time. I have now delivered over 500 tutoring sessions and have, most importantly, learnt an extensive amount about tutoring maths. I have also gained familiarity with each of the different exam boards, developed a bank of resources, and worked with various ages and abilities.
I have also worked in a primary school, a local tuition centre, and a summer school for international students. I really enjoy working with young people and I hope to continue to do so in the future.

We have been delighted with Jordan. She is calm and kind and has worked really well with our son. We needed someone who would be able to help with confidence in maths and she has been truly wonderful. Our son has just gone through his first set of Mocks and came through them with a much higher score than anticipated as he felt confident in his approach and that has all been down to Jordan. We would highly recommend her to anyone who wants more confidence; has an anxiety; or just needs more understanding of the subject. The lessons are planned really well and she works with the student to ensure that they are covering the right areas. Fantastic!

Jordan has made maths interesting and fun for my daughter. My daughter says Jordan is really patient and good at explaining things in a way she understands. Her confidence is improving steadily. Jordan always gets to me in a timely way and has been great getting everything set up. She is reliable, thoroughly recommend her.
