I am a highly experienced, semi-retired university psychology researcher and lecturer providing friendly statistical help to undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students. Help is given with SPSS analysis and interpretation, and in the understanding of research design issues and statistical tests / concepts. I also give advice and feedback on the reporting of statistical results. My services are particularly useful to students undertaking undergraduate and postgraduate projects and dissertations.

I charge £35 for the first hour of online tuition sessions using Skype screensharing and £40 for the first hour of face-to-face sessions conducted within 20 miles of Rochdale (the latter of these is a minimum charge for each face-to-face session). After the first hour of each session (whether online or face-to-face), £2.50 is charged for each further 5 minute period or part thereof.

After online sessions of face-to-face meetings, feedback on student documents can often be provided via e-mail. This service costs £2.50 for each 5 minute period spent on providing feedback.

Availability: Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 4.00pm.

Experience: I have more than 20 years experience of teaching research design and statistics to undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students. I have also authored / co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.
