I took a Double First in English Language & Literature at Oxford University, since when my career has included being Chief Operating Officer of Universities UK and a close engagement with the education sector. I have also written extensively for journals, including book and theatre reviews. I have a passion for great literature and enjoy sharing that with students, encouraging them to understand, analyse and interpret it persuasively.

Availability: Evenings except Wednesdays

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have been providing 1:1 tutoring for several years, principally for A Level and beyond, including working with adult professionals wanting to improve their written English. One recent student said "thank you so much for supporting me through my course. You have taught me an incredible amount - I can`t thank you enough."
