I`m Daniel, a secondary Maths teacher, Head of Maths and GCSE Examiner. I`ve always enjoyed helping students realise that they are often more capable at Maths than they think.

My approach is calm, supportive and straightforward. I explain things clearly, break difficult topics into manageable steps and adapt my teaching to the individual student rather than using the same approach for everyone.

I particularly enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and reach a point where something they previously found difficult finally clicks.

Outside of teaching, I`m a dad of three and enjoy running, reading and spending time with my family.

Availability: Mon - Fri : 5pm-8pm
Sat-Sun : 8am-9pm

Experience: I have over 15 years` experience teaching secondary Mathematics and currently work as a Head of Maths. I am also a GCSE Examiner, giving me first-hand insight into how exam questions are assessed and where students commonly gain or lose marks.

I hold a PGCE and MA Education and have extensive experience teaching students across the full ability range, from those needing additional support and confidence to students aiming for the highest GCSE grades.

Alongside classroom teaching, my role as Head of Maths includes curriculum planning, assessment, student progress and leading Mathematics teaching across the department.
