I am offering tuition of English Language (TEFL) or Spanish from primary school level to university.

I have learnt a great deal in my first two years of teaching, and have always strived to do the best possible job I can for my students. The first academy I worked for in Granada was a start-up business with no experience and few staff, and I was made single-handedly responsible for the curriculum, materials and methods used to teach the young students there. This involved a lot of research into how children learn, and a lot of trial and error in the classroom. During my CELTA course I also worked over and beyond the requirements which I believe is reflected in the comments on my certificate from my supervisors, and in my being one of few CELTA applicants to graduate with an A grade.


Secondly, I am a natural communicator, and am a confident, although sensitive, teacher. I am intuitive about people, have an excellent grasp of the English language, and am also fluent in Spanish. As a keen language learner as well as teacher, I also have an awareness of what works from both sides of the classroom.

Availability: September 2017 onwards. Weeks or weekends. Afternoons

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: 2 years experience teaching English as a foreign language to students of all levels. Lots of experience teaching children from ages 3-17, as well as adults of all ages and levels A1-B2. Fluent in Spanish and can provide Spanish help for any level.
