I am a young, creative and enthusiastic teacher based in Hove. I am very passionate about educating children and helping them to reach their full potential. I believe that tutoring can enable children to make accelerated progress through personalised, targeted teaching and learning. It can also make a huge difference to their overall confidence and self-esteem. I find it very rewarding working with children on a one-to-one basis and seeking those light-bulb moments!

I can provide tutoring in a fun and engaging way across a variety of subjects (including English, maths and science) for primary aged children. I am highly knowledgeable of the primary curriculum. I am particularly aware of the Year 5 expectations having been a Year 5 class teacher for 2 years in a local primary school.

I am also aware of the latest educational approaches, and am an advocate of evidence-informed practice, having graduated from the University of Chichester in 2019 with a first-class degree in Primary Teaching with a specialism in English.

I can host students at my flat in central Hove or can travel to you if local. I am very flexible throughout the week.

Availability: Thursday afternoon 4-7.

Saturday morning 9-12.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: 2 years experience as a Year 5 class teacher in a state primary school.

1 year experience as a teaching assistant in an all girls` primary school.

Experience in netball coaching and working with young people as an Assistant Programme Leader for NCS.
